The University of Turbat (UoT) is committed to fulfilling its mandate of disseminating knowledge and providing access to higher education to all students. To ensure that deserving students are not deprived of quality education, the university has decided to establish a campus in Panjgur, Balochistan.

Upon receiving directives from the honorable Governor Balochistan Justice(R) Amanullah Khan Yasinzai and Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan Alyani, a preliminary survey was conducted in the area. The feasibility of establishing a sub-campus in Panjgur was determined and a PC-1 has been prepared and submitted to the Government of Balochistan for approval. The University of Turbat has also formally requested the Divisional and District administration the allocation of temporary buildings and land for the campus.

Under the leadership of Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir and with the support of dedicated faculty and administrative staff, the University of Turbat continues to achieve success. In September 2016, the university established a sub-campus in Gwadar and in 2019, the decision was made to establish a second sub-campus in Panjgur, recognizing the potential for higher education in the district. The university intended to begin academic activities at the Panjgur campus on March 15, 2020, after completing all necessary legal formalities and prerequisites. In November 2019, advertisements were published in various daily newspapers to fill various academic and administrative positions.
